Sialtech has played a guest-role in the Dutch educational tv-program 'Dropzone'. In this program Children are being 'dropped' in their home region. In order to find their way back the children have to carry out several tasks.
Eleven year old Pieter and Julia had to find the remains of an old fortreess in the province of Zeeland. Using electronic measuring equipment, they succeed in finding traces of the former moat of the fortress. One of Sialtech's drilling rigs (the Manitou tractor) is used to take an undisturbed sample to prove this.
